Chances of these Georgia animals getting into the house are very high therefore you have to be prepared when they find their way into your house. Opossums are careers of certain parasites therefore you have to be very careful when you come across them. Once they enter the Augusta house you do not have to panic because they are techniques that you can quickly use to get rid of them.

Step 1
The first stage is to confirm and be sure that the Georgia animal got inside the house. You can do this by having a thorough search throughout your home. Once you have located the exact position of the animal, you proceed to the next stage which might be quite challenging to some people.

Step 2
Here you have to ensure that the animal does not escape and get into another room; you can do this by locking all the doors that lead to other rooms. When you are done, you have to focus to focus to the room that the Augusta opossum is hiding.

Step 3
The next step is to close the door behind you and to close the windows in the room especially those that lead to other rooms; you can only spare one window that leads outside the house. The importance of leaving one window is that the Augusta animal may willingly climb and crawl out of the house via that open window.

Step 4
If the Augusta animal is resistance in that he is not willing to leave the house, you have to come up with ways that will prevent him from jumping up and down from one location of the room into another. You have to keep the Georgia animal in one location within the room. You can select a particular corner and build barriers to other locations of the room leaving the corner as the only option for them to hide.

Step 5
When they are pinned into one location, you can wear your hand gloves and carefully remove them from the corner. Once you capture the animal, you have to ensure that you have placed him in secure container that will prevent him from escaping. Ensure that you remove the animal out of the house and later on relocate him to a Georgia location where he will not easily find his way back into your compound.

You can also use bait if you are scared of handling the Augusta animals. Opossums love food and any sweet food will easily lure them into the trap that you have set. All you have to do is to ensure that the trap is firm enough to hold the animals for a couple of hours.
